What to Expect

Early bird special with 30 minutes extra rental time.

The early bird special pricing is for departures between 9 am and 10:20 am. For departures after 10:20 AM  book here

Start in the heart of Fisherman’s Wharf at Umbrella Alley, near the Cable Car turnaround, Cruise by Ghirardelli Square, and see Historic sailing ships at Hyde Street Pier. Scoot west towards Crissy Field and through the Marina Green, enjoy Spectacular views of San Francisco Bay, and Alcatraz Island plus stop at Fort Point under the Golden Gate Bridge. Then up the hill to the Bridge Welcome Center plaza. 

Return through the Presidio and Marina District. 

You can stop when and where you want, and follow the GPS GoRide fully narrated tour at your own pace with on-vehicle GPS and Audio commentary.

As a bonus, our GoRide tour route offers an additional 30-minute loop through Fisherman’s Wharf where you can see the crab stands, fishing fleet, Pier 39, and cable car turnaround. This is a great way to experience the waterfront and it’s full of restaurants and shops you can stop at.

Scooter Rental Prices

  • Rental CostONE SEATER: Fat Tire eScooter $89.00 per scooter for 1.5 hour rental
    TWO SEATER: eTrike $99.00 per scooter for 1.5-hour rental.
    Passenger age 5 and up.
    Additional Hours: $ 36.00 per hour.
  • Optional Damage InsuranceWould you like to add optional damage insurance to your rental? IMPORTANT: Does not cover lost keys, helmets, GPS phones, speakers or locks. Will cover any accidental damage to the eScooter, not including theft. $7.50 per rental vehicle.
  • Security DepositOn the day of the eScooter rental, a security deposit will be held on your credit card until the eScooter is returned. All riders must sign a standard participant agreement. You will have the option to purchase damage insurance on the day of departure. Will cover any accidental damage to the eScooter, not including theft.
  • Extra Rental TimeRenters are free to extend the length of their rental time on the day of. Additional time will be charged in 1-minute increments. Scooter rentals must be returned to the departure location before sunset.

We are Open Daily at 9 AM.

Early Bird Deal is for departures bwtween 9:00 AM and 10:20 AM.

Book Here if you want to depart after 10:20 AM. The last rental departs 4 PM. 

Closed on December 25 and January 1st.

  • 1st check-in and complete some pre-rental paperwork.
  • Next is a quick training video then a hands-on safe operation briefing with our staff.
  • Your rental time does not start until you leave the facility.
  • Then you are off for a GPS-guided 2-hour GoRide eScooter “Early Bird” sightseeing tour to the Golden Gate Bridge. 
Renter Requirements
  • Renters must be 18+ with ID and credit card for a security deposit.
  • Number of Seats / Driver and Rider Ages: Our Fat Tire eScooters (1 seater) do not accommodate passengers of any kind, while the passenger on the eTrike (2 seater) must be at least 5 years old.
  • Weights: Please note that there is a maximum weight limit of 300lbs (136kg) for a single passenger on the Fat Tire eScooter and 300lbs (136kg) total for the 2 passengers on the eTrike
  • Like all E-scooters, the performance and uphill speed may be limited depending on guest weight. Helmets are required and will be provided
